Hollie is a licensed professional counselor in the state of Mississippi. She is a graduate of William Carey University and the University of Southern Mississippi. She is soon to be a Board Certified Telemental Health provider. She has further studies in addictions, trauma, self-esteem, resilience, and working with the LGBTQ+ community. Hollie has been an adjunct professor at William Carey University, and the University of Maryland Global Campus in Okinawa, Japan. She has served as president of the Gulf Coast Counseling Association and the Mississippi Licensed Profession Counselors Association. She also served as Awards Chairperson, Conference Chairperson, and President-elect for Mississippi Counseling Association. In 2006, she received the New Counselor of the Year award from the Mississippi Counseling Association, and in 2013, she was awarded Licensed Professional Counselor of the Year. Hollie’s theoretical approach is primarily cognitive behavioral, but she is skilled in Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Mindfulness, and is currently pursuing a certificate in Acceptance & Commitment Therapy. She enjoys working with adolescents, adults, and couples, providing a warm, empathetic, genuinely caring environment in order to help them safely identify and resolve their life issues.
